I've had severe acne myself, try looking for more information on any acne website, like this one for example:

http://AcneTreat.net

You'll find some great info there, hope you can get rid of them quickly.

What is the best type of acne treatment?

for normal skin that gets acne, not super severely but not good. But what would get rid of blackheads the best around the nose and forehead? What is the best type of acne treatment?
well i like nutregena oil free acne wash works great for meWhat is the best type of acne treatment?
No one-time treatment exists which will forever eliminate acne. Acne treatments need to be continued in order for them to maintain effectiveness. Some acne treatments can result in the complete prevention and elimination of pimples and blemishes, but acne can reoccur if treatment is discontinued. Success with any specific treatment depends on your acne's severity and your specific response to the treatment. So, try searching for homeopathic remedies products that will help you to cure acne naturally.
i havent found how to successfully get rid of blackheads but for acne take zinc ad vitamin A supplements and eat lots of garlic. seriously. i have read through several medical books that garlic is overall very good for your bosy especially skin. EVERYDAY, just chop a few cloves and put it in different foods so it won't be as strong. i have very difficult skin and have been eating several cloves a day as well as using BOTH the regular proactive, which contains benzoyl peroxide, ANDDD the sensitive skin proactive, which contains salicylic acid. you need both to even it out and just swap the routine every other day. after using proactive I hae Eucerin redness relief moisterizer(night cream and day cream) that i use in addition to help the redness and moisterize my skin. my skin has been clearing and the redness is not as bad.hope i could help :)
Blackheads are really hard to get rid of. I've tried a lot of different products, but the best combination would be Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash, Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser, and the Biore blackhead-removing strips. Try using all of these things together every other day (every day would dry your skin out), and you might see results. NEVER (and I mean never) let your skin get too dry. This irritates your pores, making blackheads and zits easier to get. Use an oil-free face moisterizer. Ponds works for me.

To make your pores smaller, you can use egg white. Let it dry on your nose and forehead for 10 minutes and wash it off. Your face will feel really clean and refreshed.

Hope this helped.
I would suggest using the Proactiv Solution set..it works great and it's probably the best over-the-counter stuff out there.

Buying it directly from them gets expensive, so I found a cheap one on eBay

Enjoy!! :)
I use a mixture of baking soda in with my face wash which helps, I also have perscriptions from a dermatologist, this might be a good thing to check out depending on how serious it is. I would also think about what kind of make-up you use. Make sure its oil and fragrance free. My personal favorite is Clinique, they also have a line specifically for acne. Good luck!
pro active.
go to skinid.com . its by neutragena and its designed just for you. its works amazing
listerine
get clean and clear warming blackhead remover
I would try www.medicalcremes.com

What is the best type of acne treatment?

I have seen sooooo many types of acne treatments on T.V. (Ex. proactive, clearasil, neutrogena, clean %26amp; clear)All of them claim to better than proactive so which is the best? What is the best type of acne treatment?
the one that suits you ,What is the best type of acne treatment?
It depends on your skin type. But Proactive has worked best for the most people. I know at least 15 people who use it on a regular basis, and they all have beautiful skin now. I know it is a bit pricey, but it is well worth it. Good luck. Here are some alternative methods that claim to be effective. I would still stick with Proactive, because it's a proven brand. http://getacnetreatments.com/ Here is another site that talks about acne treatments and if you click the link to see their recommendation, it suggests Proactive. http://www.bestacnetreatments.org/index.鈥?/a>

I dont have terrible acne but i have been starting to get more acne on my chin and nose lately. its not alot. its just spotty. like a few pimples on my nose and 1 or 2 on my chin. What is the best type of acne treatment for this? I hear the new Neutrogina ';wave'; massager works nice. I also hear good things about the proactive system. What do you think? Thanks! What is the best type of Acne treatment?
I also use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. Amazing! Tori is right, some things don't work for everyone.

About proactive, it too doesn't work for everyone. It worked for my mom friend's kid but it only worked for a little while. My brother tried it and it didn't work for him. But it probably does work miracles for some people. You don't sound like you have a major problem so you should try something like Neutrogena.

Neutrogena has a lot of products that you could use. You could use their acne wash, overnight gel thing to get rid of your acne while you sleep, etc. I haven't tried the wave massager because the oil-free acne wash does enough for me!

Good luck! What is the best type of Acne treatment?
Okay, this is gonna sound weird, but rice water works better than anything. Like when you cook rice in a rice pot, you have to wash it first, and the water that you drain out of the pot before you fill it again and cook the rice, you can use it to wash your face with. I've been doing it for about 3 months and it's worked better than anything I've tried before. I don't know if you have rice or a rice pot or whatever, but I just thought I'd share that.
You should diffently try proactive, it helped clear up my skin in about a week. The mask really helps clear up pimples at night. The only downside to proactive is that you really have to be consistant on using it day and night. Good luck!
I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. It's wonderful! Clean %26amp; Clear is also nice and easy.
Some things work for some, others just don't work. Basically, you just need to test drive everything. That's what I did and I settled on Neutrogena Oil-free wash.
    CLEAN AND CLEAR.

trust me, ive been using it for 2 years now, and i havent had acne since!!

you can find it at most stores like wal mart
Differin gel is the best. but it is by prescription only so you have to ask your doctor for it.
Cinnamon toothpaste. I have some bad acne on my back and that stuff works wonders.
idk but i just use generic cheap **** and it works pretty qood

What type of acne do i have?

i get spots on my face, back, and they are red lumps, blackheads, matter spots. What type of acne do i have?
quite bad by the sound of it

Try different things like drinking water but if this persists go chat to the doc..say how it makes you feel and they may transfer you to the hospital where you may be prescribed Accutane. It's a strong drug that gets rid of spots for good..my daughter finished her course not long ago and it did the jobWhat type of acne do i have?
it sounds like cystic acne.. but it could just be normal acne as well seeing as we don't have a picture of what it looks like i think you should just ask your dermatologist :) don't wry acne will go away! and you can ask for some medicine to help as well :) i have it 2 but mine's slowly going away.. don't use accutane!!! it is VERY strong! unless you have tried everything else and it is a last resort then i suggest not to because i was on it and i almost died... anyways good luck!

What type of acne is this?

It is pale bumps underneath the skin. They are really small. Any ideas about what this may be?What type of acne is this?
might be a wheat allergy/acne. if you pop them and they come out stringy, this might be it. stay away from wheat products and see if it clears up.
