I have been looking up a few acne solutions and a couple claim to work as they stop sebum production which causes acne. I am concerned that stopping this production will make my skin age alot faster without the natural oils... anyone know about this???Does anyone know the long term effects of stopping sebum production?
Sebum is the natural oil that the skin produces. So yes if you stop the production of oil your skin will get very dry and flaky and will wrinkle faster. I would consult a dermatologist before you go through this procedure.
